EDIT: I did a work around. i have a SoundblasterZ, so i plugged an audio cable from the audio-out on the avermedia to the line-in on the blasterZ, and enabled "listen to this device", and now i can hear my audio in sync in OBS studio.
Need my hand held here.
I plan to stream in the next couple months. i streamed in the past, and used the regular OBS software until i found out OBS studio has more functionality. still new to it, but it's essentially the same process.
i recently ordered an Avermedia GC570 (Live Gamer HD 2) to capture anything from any console play i might do in the future. i'm currently trying to set up a scene for when i want to play with my Switch, however, i'm only getting video from it, and no audio. I tested a preview in Avermedia's Recentral software, and i get both video and audio with no setting changes, however, when i try to capture using OBS studio, i only get video.
i'm using the "Video Capture Device" Source. i set the "Device" to "Live Gamer HD 2" and also "Stream Engine - 1" since they both send video, but neither send audio when i have the "Output mode" set to "Capture audio only" and set the custom audio device to "Digital Audio Interface (Avermedia)"
--- Since writing this to this point, i found that having the Device set to "Live Gamer HD 2", the audio is in sync, but in-audible through my desktop. if i set it to either of the desktop settings, it's completely out of sync, but there's finally audio.
What do i do to have my cake and eat it too? how do i get it to play audio in sync through my desktop so i can hear my gameplay?
