Question / Help Avermedia Capture Issue

Hi there, for ages we've been using the Avermedia LGP Lite on OBS Studio, direct from the Video Capture Device input (OBS seeing it as Avermedia C835) and was working fine, but now it's not, it's not at all, halfway through a stream it started dropping frames immensely so we ended the stream. Now OBS sees that the device is there but nothing appears!
I've read about the Stream Engine.. Tried that, OBS doesn't even see it on the list. I've tried without Google, without Skype etc etc but OBS refuses to either activate the device (C835) or see the Stream Engine!
The capture device works fine on it's own software.
I'm totally lost and out of ideas.....
Any help?

Using the 32 bit OBS-Studio 0.16.2 (even though it stopped working on the previous release)

did you figure the issue out. I have the same issue and im not to sure why its doing it either i recently posted here on the forums and nothing back yet. hope this is fixed soon.
