Okay, so ive had this card forever now, and know how to set it up and all, but i have some other questions

First, im using a Wii U to play LOZ: Skyward Sword, when its at the Wii U side, its perfect quality and nothing is wrong, but the moment it goes to Wii OS, it get a black border, and the quality drops like crazy.

Ive read article about this, and understand what normally causes it, but the thing is, the quality cant be clean up or fixed, unless i drop it down to like 144p, and well no one enjoys playing at that small.

Does anyone know how to fix this ?

Second question, is there any recommends to programs that i can use along side streaming, i am currently using phantom bot and love it, but i am just curious.

Sounds like the resolution of the dashboard is different that the resolution of the game. You generally want to match the capture card settings to what's being captured, or configure the console to hold a single resolution so it doesn't confused the capture card.

Any idea what resolution the game runs at versus the dashboard?
