Will any version of OBS, Studio or regular, be supporting the AV1 format?

Studio may get support for it. Classic definitely will not.

the thing with av1 is that its not finalized yet, but luckly my friend xaymar (the amf dude) has started to implement very early av1 support

the current av1 encoder is insanely slow, soo better wait for its public release
