Question / Help Automatically loading next scene in Studio Mode.

I suspect the reason this isn't there now such a native feature, and probably won't be anytime soon, is that Scenes can be constructed in a list to make them, by intent, to be sequential. But that is a given user preference, not a design feature. So there isn't a Next to go, just other Scenes, and you are expected to pick which one. So this requested feature (which I'd like) goes against the design principles as they currently exist for OBS (as I understand it.. I could be very wrong)
Personally, I needed for HoW livestreaming, a Scene sequence [much more complex when only livestreaming with live and pre-recorded content. Now livestreaming in-person service, our OBS Scene structure is SOOOO much simpler]. I ended up using Warmuptill's Advanced Scene Switcher https://obsproject.com/forum/threads/advanced-scene-switcher/ . Ther are some other plugins (iirc) that also create in essence a Scene 'Order', such that the idea of "Next" has context and a single Hotkey to activate works. I'd recommend taking a look in the Resource section to see if you find a Plugin or script that works for you
For context on why I want a Next, but am fine without by using a plugin
- I don't use OBS' Studio Mode (started with PC not powerful enough, so got used to working without it and don't have need at this point)
- For live portion of my livestream, I have 3 basic scenes I'm picking from (and go back and forth between them, with the adjustment being how much camera image to display vs other content). I might be able to use Move plugin instead, but haven't looked into that.
- However, my scene collection is still over a dozen items. I have a handful for stream start (between Title page which becomes thumbnail, countdown scene, a full-screen pre-recorded video to allow folks time to connect to stream, and a couple of others which are unique to livestream opening. Then I have another almost handful for a nice Good-bye scene with fade-to-black, etc. I pick the appropriate Scene, and Adv Scene Switcher then automates the Scene changes and transitions. Adv Scene Switcher settings I have also handle turning on recording at appropriate time (as platform's Scheduled Video events requires streaming in advance of that, and no desire on my part to then have to edit out that empty time from each Recording), and End Stream/Recording

I found a solution (but it is a little risky since I don't control the order of operations within OBS). I installed the "simple scene switcher" https://obsproject.com/forum/resources/next-scene-and-previous-scene-hotkeys.1018/ and then programmed the “transition” hotkey and the “next scene” hotkey to the same value (in my case F1). So now when you press F1, the transition occurs, and the next scene is loaded into preview. Exactly what I needed. I would prefer it was a built-in option as part of studio mode optional transition technique.
