I use OBS for teaching Math.
In class i sent the Preview to a beamer, record my instructions and use NDI plugin so students online can see my instructions in Microsoft Teams.
My canvas is 19:10 so everyone will see it in 19:10
The beamer i use can also display in 4:3. In this setting i can use more space on my Whiteboard so i was thinking about using this extra space in class.
Would it be possible that i set my canvas to 4:3 but that the main part of my layout is still 19:10 so that i create room at the top and bottom to show things (like text) that will only be seen in class and not in the recording and online? For example it is automatically cropped when i stop recording. And in Teams they see only the centerpart in 19:10without the top and bottom area.
I can imagine that it is possible with another application, but can it be done within OBS?
