I have set up OBS for streaming music. I'm playing the music through the VLC plugin, which I need to display MP3 tag information using Tuna.
I'm using a dedicated mini-PC solely for this stream, which doesn't have a connected monitor.
I want to regularly add new songs to the music folder specified in the VLC source over the network. The issue is that the VLC plugin doesn't automatically detect and play these new songs. I have to manually open and confirm the source in OBS, which is inconvenient without a monitor. I don't want to switch the monitor from my main PC to the streaming PC every one or two weeks just to update this.
Is there a way for new songs to be automatically played? Or at least, can I initiate the update process by running a file in the network folder from my main PC?
