I am using the preview feature in OBS (Studio) for multiple purposes:
1) A space saving device so that I can see the twitch chat without needing the chat window open or in the foreground.
2) A huge reminder that I am currently live or recording :^)
3) My only means of seeing twitch alerts.
In the old OBS the preview was automatically enabled when live or recording, which turned out to be a very handy feature for me since I'm both forgetful and not exactly rolling in screen space. It's not like it's a gigantic hassle to enable/disable the preview manually, but it would absolutely be a super neat little function in my case to have it automated!
