Automate open source properties window and Ok it to restart it

So, I've seen many user with similar problems than mine (source is on rtsp,obs stream freezes or lags and doesn't reconnects/resyncs) and a common workaround to this issues is to manually right click the source and open its properties window and then just close it with an Ok, thus restarting the stream capture. Is it possible to do this automatically every a set amount of time? This looks to be an OS agnostic problem but I'm on Linux using OBS to record the stream of an IP Tapo camera via rtsp and my network is quite unstable so the stream either freezes when network goes down for a bit or it lags by hours at random times after hours or even days of capturing.
