Auto update to version 26.1.1 fails

Some process is attempting to update OBS Studio to version 26.1.1 which fails.

The complete error is

OBS Project OBS Studio 26.1.1.png

When I click "OK" the error returns about 30 minutes later.

Two questions: 1) How do I fix this error and/or 2) How do I stop the error?

It looks like my original version of OBS Studio has been uninstalled, and the directory mentioned in the error (C:\Windows\ccmcache) is inaccessible

OBS does not use powershell scripts to update, this seems like a 3rd party package. You should get support from whoever put it together, or download the official release from obsproject.com.

There is nothing strange. The source directory c:\windows\ccmcache is a reliable sign your PC is in a corporate environment that uses SCCM ( System Center Configuration Manager) from Microsoft for computer management, which includes software distribution. This distribution system uses silent install packages only, and for OBS+SCCM such a package has to be created by the corporate PC administrator. This powershell script that throws the above error is from is from such a package.
So contact your corporate PC administrator for help.
It's probably the only thing you can do, since using SCCM is also a sign you probably don't have administrator permission to install software directly.
