Question / Help Audiobox shuts down immediately after opening OBS studio

I've reinstalled the drivers, tried different usb ports, made sure it was connected to a USB 2.0 port, but every time I open OBS studio and select the Line (audiobox) option the mic cuts in and out for a few seconds then stops working all together. I've tried disabling the mic and re enabling it only to get the same problem. I have no idea how to solve the problem, it was working fine yesterday and earlier today but it now all of a sudden doesn't want to work. Sorry accidentally posted the log file three times, oops -_-;.

Jared no idea what's happening here but OBS Studio can't initialise your audio device. I'd check the connections and make sure your drivers are up to date.

Device drivers are up to date, the usb device is connected in the same usb port that I used to up date the drivers as well. The mic works fine in other programs like Audacity but always kicks off in obs studio. I don't know if it's an issue with my computer settings or what. It's just super frustrating.

Hmmm, one idea. Are there any other USB devices that OBS is opening that Audacity wouldn't be? For instance a webcam or a capture card?

Yes, two, my elgato capture card and my logitech hd c920 webcam.

I have no idea if this will work, it's just a gut feeling and something I've run into with my USB sound card. Try switching the USB ports around, preferably try to get the soundcard on a different set of USB ports to the capture card. Plugging it in to the front ports (if you have them) as a test might be worth a try.

Tried it and the same problem occurs. I'm just reverting back to the old OBS for the time being because it runs just fine in that program. I can't for the life of me understand why it would work in the old OBS and not studio. This is a very aggravating problem ><
