Right now I am using my laptop speaker/mic for sound, how do I set the setting to where I do not hear an echo? This is just for my test streams until I get my gaming and streaming system.

Go to your OBS Audio Mixer, adjust the Sync Offset a bit until the mic and desktop audio are in sync so you will not hear any echo. Takes some time testing/recording to your harddrive to make sure it sounds good with the video feed.
Sometimes I'll stream on my bot account and have mods help me so I can do it in real time.
