Question / Help Audio worked the first time I set up OBS, but not anymore

TLDR: OBS was successfully recording webcam audio, but now it doesn't, and I need suggestions for getting that working again.

I initially set up OBS on my laptop, with only the built in webcam. Audio worked. I added a USB webcam. Audio came from the USB webcam. I could toggle between the two setups, but audio was only being recorded from the USB webcam at the time. It didn't matter too much at the time, I was just trying to test my setup.

Fast forward a few days to when I need to use my setup, and I'm getting no audio from either webcam in OBS. Windows 10 recognizes the microphones and shows they're recording, but it's not showing up in OBS. I tried adding an Audio Input Capture, that didn't work. I tried changing the Settings / Audio / Devices / Mic/Aux Audio device to Microphone Array (Realtek(R) Audio) - the same as what Windows was seeing, as well as trying Default, but no luck there either. I've tried uninstalling OBS (checking the box for it to delete my settings) and re-installing, but that still hasn't worked. I've double checked that Push to Talk and Push to Mute are disabled.

I've tried everything I can think of. All I can imagine is that some setting accidentally got screwed up a setting by trying to scroll down while the mouse was over it, and that that one particular setting is one that carries over between installs.

The above doesn't show you trying to get audio from a webcam. The only device you have selected for input is "default" and that almost certainly isn't your camera.

You also have the same device selected twice-- you have "default" under desktop audio, and then "default" under mic/aux, so you'll get the same audio twice (assuming you get any at all).

Check if your webcam shows up under the mic/aux dropdown, and if not, see if you can add it explicitly as an audio source in your scene.

OK, I have a better screenshot to show my situation.
I changed Desktop Audio to Speaker (Realtek(R) Audio) , but I'm pretty sure that's just for recording audio that originates on your computer. I also changed the Mic/Aux back to Microphone Array (Realtek(R) Audio). You can also see in the Windows Sound settings behind OBS that the mic is functioning (it's also set to Microphone Array (Realtek(R) Audio), I just didn't get that in the screenshot), but the OBS Mic setting is still not budging.

Is your webcam a realtek? Because if not, those devices are probably either the microphone port in your machine, or a built-in microphone if this is a laptop.

I'm on a laptop, so that's the built-in microphone. I've added the webcam as a Video Capture device, but it's not pulling in the audio from it anymore.

I've found out that while Windows shows my microphone picking up sound, other apps are having issues getting audio from my mic as well, leading me to believe the issue is something else.
