Question / Help Audio won't play

PLEASE HELP..... I've been fighting with this for days and I've searched all the threads for help.

I'm trying to make instructional videos for work and having trouble with recording audio.

The bar under the mic/Aux shows it hears me talking into the microphone but when I play it back, there is no sound, or very slight sound even when the speakers are turned all the way up.

I have tried every different setting I can think of. I've tried the front and back microphone port. I made sure the microphone is working in the settings menu on my computer.

I know it's not the speakers not playing the sound back because if I have music playing on my computer when I record, the music plays when I play the video.

I tried to upload the logs but it doesn't do anything. This is one of the logs from trying to get this to work. I can't paste the other logs because it makes the post too long.

Have you tried playing back using VLC from videolan.org? The built in Windows Media player doesn't work well the the OBS audio codec even though it's an industry standard

No, I didn't think to try any other software. I will definitely try that when I get to work on Monday. Thank you!
