Audio with virtual cam

I am running OBS v26.1 under Mojave. After deleting the old Virtual Cam plugin, OBS runs but how do I control audio? I can select the OBS Virtual Cam in Zoom but how do I select the OBS audio stream to go along with it? Also, if I add a Browser as source, is there a way to control Browser audio levels and mix with other sources?

I found a post referring to Virtual Cable. I'm not sure i fthis is the recommended way to deal with audio on the Mac but it seems it would send the OBS audio to Zoom. Not sure how Browser audio level mixing could be done.

If I pick Media Source as a source, select a local .mp4 file, I get a new Media Source in the Audio Mixer and it shows the audio in the VU meter but I haven't found a way to get that audio sent out with the video stream. Also, when I play a video (e.eg, youtube) I get the video and audio but they are out of sync.
