Audio/Video Sync problem

We stream to Facebook live and our video from a PTZ Optics camera into OBS is about 1-1.2 seconds behind the audio. The camera is connected thru the network via IP address and I suspect the problem is there. Read that there is way to delay the audio to come into sync with video, but can't find any such setting.

Is there such a setting?
If the network IP connection is the issue, any alternatives (we have Windows setup).

Thanks.

Right click on the audio mixer dock and select Advanced Audio Properties. Identify the audio input you want to delay and set the Sync Offset value for the number of milliseconds of delay you need. That said, 1200 milliseconds is quite extreme--I'm not sure OBS can support that much delay (and it suggests something abnormal in your network is contributing).

Also, note that the sync offset delay is not applied to the OBS output monitor--you need to replay a video or livestream to notice it.

Thanks so much - found it!!

unfortunately, entered sync offset values and didn't seem to make a difference. Thinking I'm going to need to direct wire the projector to OBS (currently using an IP address connection).

Since no computer input for HDMI will need HDMI to USB-C converter. Anyone have experience using one of those, or have suggestions as to which one works best?

Thanks.

Your video should NOT be that far out of sync over the network. I use a NDI PoE PTZ camera, with video running through the vendors VirtualUSB driver (nice to avoid the NDI receiver hassles and getting that into OBS Studio). I do not have to enter any adjustment for video delay compared to audio (there is some, but not enough to care about). I use StreamGeeks (PTZAudio)'s free audio/video sync video to check exact delay amount

I'd be inclined to check you camera settings, then your network, and then is computer powerful enough to process incoming video in a timely manner??
