THIS IS FOR RECORDING PURPOSES ONLY
I love the multiple audio tracks/devices feature in OBS Studio. I have a few questions on further customization, however.
My Audio Setup: Desktop mixer to DAC to PC. Using one pair of headphones and one professional mic.
Plan on separating my desktop audio and my mic input as two separate tracks. Is there a way to separate the programs that give off output as multiple devices?
For example: Speakers: In-game audio, Speakers 2 (same headphones): Teamspeak/Discord Audio, Speakers 3: (same headphones) Music (like, if I'm recording BF4 and I have some music playing in the background). So I would choose these 3 devices and separate them as different audio tracks, to allow for better editing. I have some other workarounds, like using the volume mixer on Windows to adjust the volume used for each program or connecting my phone as an aux channel through my mixer and mixing it live, but it would be most beneficial for me to be able to have all these different audio tracks and edit them once I place my mp4 into my video editor. Hope this made sense haha.
