Audio Tracks from Specific Applications

I don't think this is a thing based on what I can (or can't) find.

I record gameplay with two audio tracks. One track is output (i.e. desktop/game) whereas the other track is input (i.e. microphone). This makes editing videos easier to do because I can adjust each track's audio levels to achieve a happy medium. However, if I am doing a co-operative/colaboration and communicate with someone else through, say, Discord, their talking/audio will get recorded along with the Desktop/game audio so I would then have to fiddle with game and Discord settings to try and get a happy medium when it comes to the editing stage and hope it remains consistent throughout the entire recording.

Considering that Windows has a mixer that can adjust the audio output of specific applications, it makes me believe that the following idea is possible.

My suggestion/idea is a new Source > Application Audio, which gets added to the OBS Mixer which in turn lets you save to a specific track. Therefore potentially separating game audio with Discord (for example).

I would be interested to know what others thought of this.
