Hi, how are you?
First, my thanks to the OBS coders and contributors who have made OBS. I've come across with a problem that I can't seem to solve.
My audio levels are good, as in the mic and voice isn't overpowered by other sounds. But the problem is that when it comes up in YouTube, the stream is super quiet. You have to push the audio slider all the way to the right and turn up your devices to hear it. It's especially a problem on phones, you turn it right up and it's still difficult to hear.
I've tried increasing the gain, both in filters and advanced audio properties, but... The sound then gets clipped to hell. I've pushed it as far as I can using gain.
So, I need a way to somehow turn it up before it gets to YouTube? But then not turn it up for the recording part?
I don't know any of the audio terminology, the jargon, so when I search for how to solve this it returns unrelated things.
