Question / Help Audio through speakers but audio not received by OBS?

My audio is currently set to come out of HDMI, which I route through my tv, then it optical out's to my soundbar, and I hear the audio just fine, but OBS doesn't pick up anything. I manually selected the default sound device under Desktop audio but it didn't make it any better.

I was, before this, running audio directly from my optical cable to my soundbar, again, selecting the correct default in windows playback devices, and manually selecting it as the default device. Not sure what I'm doing incorrectly sadly.

I saw the post asking for us to copy our log file, this should be it, if not let me know what else is needed and I'll see what I can do.

I can confirm the microphone of my webcam was working for audio.

Have you tried it without Rocksmith? That game is known to lock audio devices, you can try turning off exclusive mode to work around it.

Gonna have to show my ignorance here, sorry about that, but exclusive mode?

EDIT: Google was my friend on this day, turned off exclusive mode and it worked like a champ. Sorry I didn't notice sooner, I had attempted googling no audio but nothing came up, googled exclusive mode and the issue is listed abound. Thank you good sir/madam/person!
