Question / Help Audio sync slipping in and out between cameras

Hi,

I'm streaming throughOBS using 2 cameras and putting the audio through an avid m-box. I have found problems where the audio will keep slipping throughout the stream (Stream is typically about 45 mins long). The problem also seems to be worse on one camera than the other, which is odd since the sound is not passing through there. I have read that disabling the "use device timestamps" check box may help, but I cannot seem to find that anywhere. (I'm using OBS 22.0.3 for Mac) Am i missing something? Can anyone help? Thanks in advance :)

Are all your devices set for the same audio sampling rate, and is OBS also set to that rate?

I turn off the buffering option when you setup a source. solved all my A/V sync problem

...and are OBS and your one audio device set to the same sampling rate?

What PC/RAM do you have? I had a similar problem (on a different recorder) due to a lack of RAM. Happened on both DXTory for my old PC and SCR Pro for my old tablet. Could very well be the case here.
