Audio Sync Problems

Hi

I have a Macbook pro 2019 running Big Sur and latest OBS software 26.1.2- I am putting together a music show where I have prepared videos with backing tracks and loaded them into one scene, each being turn on and off with a hot key when needed so that I can sing on top of them - I am using a Scarlett audio card and monitoring the monitor output of obs via Scarlett that has my voice and the backing track mixed - I have set 200ms delay in the scarlett so that when it records/streams my lips are in sync with my voice - I knew I would have to create an offset for the videos and at first I set 325ms for each one and when I did a test stream everything was fine and in sync - then suddenly - everything went out of sync. I have spent hours trying find the right offset again by playing along and recording a with a video and fine tuning it till I have it all in sync - I go and set the same value for the other videos and then everything is out of sync again.

Is this a known bug? or am I missing something very fundamental - it seems like it is being very unpredictable.

Also, is there a way of monitoring what audio a stream/recording would be getting so that I can check in real time what the delays are without having to record every time?

Thanks in advance
