Audio Sync Issue in OBS Studio - Need Help Resolving!

Whenever I try to stream or record, I've noticed that my audio seems to be slightly out of sync with the video. I'm using OBS Studio version 27.0.1 on a Windows 10 PC. My capture setup involves a USB microphone and a webcam, with the audio coming from the microphone. The video looks great, but that slight audio delay is really bothering me. I've tried adjusting various settings, such as the audio buffer size and sample rate, but I haven't had much luck in getting the audio to sync up perfectly.

It'll take a negative number too, which it sounds like you might need. That eats into the buffer to make it earlier than it normally would be, at the expense of possibly underrunning the buffer, which sounds bad.

Also note that this delay is at the input to the encoder, *after* all of the filters and the Monitor tap. So you won't hear it in the moment no matter what you set it to, but it does affect the stream and recording.

a big difference is, if the audio delay accumilates over time, or its always the same constant delay
aarondshowed you how to deal with a constant same delay, let us know if there is a buildup
