Audio suddenly not captured by video capture device

Hi all! My Elgato Cam Link 4K was working perfectly and all of a sudden (literally from one day to the next) the audio is not coming into OBS even though the video is. Everything is new as of January. Has anyone had this problem? Thank you very much, any insight would be helpful.

Ha! I'm only replying to my own question in case anyone else has this question and needs an answer! Apparently the audio for the Elgato Cam Link 4K capture card needs to be added as a separate source (Audio Input Source) on Macs in OBS. (Apparently this is not necessary in Windows...) The irony is the streaming worked perfectly for 2 weeks without adding a separate audio source, but whatever! I'm happy to have everything working again.
