This is a basic question and probably not mac specific but I'd appreciate some input on the best way to share one camera's audio across multiple scenes that don't always include that camera.
For a show that we stream we use several cameras but we take all of our audio from just one of them (camera1). I've got about a dozen scenes and at first I only could hear presenter audio in the scenes using camera1. When I realized what the problem was, I tried defining a separate audio source using camera1's audio input and included it in scenes that didn't use camera1. When I did that I ran into echo problems in some scenes and sync problems in the scenes that use camera1 (even though it didn't include that audio source.)
My solution right now is to just include camera1 in all scenes (typically hidden at the bottom layer.) This works but it feels like using a hammer to push in a thumbtack; overkill.
Is there a better, more typical way to do this?
