It's very difficult to detect differences in audio quality between 160kbps and 320kbps. What was your expected result?

I'm just so confused. I have videos that I downloaded and the audio bitrate for them is 120kbps or 190kbps and the audio in those videos sound perfect. Why is it that when I record those videos the audio sounds worse even if it was recorded at the same or higher bitrate? Is it just not possible to have the video sound the same or almost the same?

I'm still not really sure what you mean. Can you post an example of the kind of quality you're getting? I suspect your issue isn't due to audio bit rate if you're really having a noticeable issue.

Also, you may want to look into installing the CoreAudio encoder. You're currently using the FFmpeg AAC encoder, which is not very good but is used if you don't have any better options installed.

I installed the CoreAudio encoder and it fixed the problem. Thanks for your help.
