Audio Signal stops while using OBS

Not able to use OBS during a recent project. Cameras working and audio working but after 15-20 min the audio stops and the meters go out. Relaunching OBS corrected the problem for the 1st few times. Not able to use OBS for a live stream.
Equipment: MACBOOK PRO - Mojave 10.14.6

Has anyone experienced this?

Hi,
I had the same problem and figured out, that i can shortly (without restarting OBS) got to properties and switch the audio sources for a second, then go back to my needed audio source.
Totally annoying...cause my chat had to yell at me everytime that the sound is off.
And it was completely random but always in the first 1-15 minutes.

BUUUT, what really helped, i always had the twitch app opened to communicate and have a look at the moderator view while streaming (with muted live video in the app), and since i did not open the app at all i am not having a single problem with sound. Cannot explain 100% why, but the issue is gone without opening the twitch app on the same Mac where the stream is.
tested it many times since and everything is running smoothly, soundwise!

Hope this also will fix your problem

Phone to a chargerpack when mixing and playing music or over usb when im sitting in front of the mac.

Hey, turned out that everytime when the first cheer or something that is played from my streamlabsbot with audio, my obs stops playing music over the output...dont know why?
But to workaround this, everytime i start a stream, i force the cloudbot over the chat to play a cheer or something with sound, then i change the output again and back to the output source i am using.
Voila, not a single sound fail again during the stream.

Thanks for sharing. Our situations are somewhat similar. I have not tried your solution yet. I powered up and tried everything again and not it works with no problem. I forgot to mention in my last post that my MAC was not reading the UAC2 as a sound source so I was not able to select it. Now I am happy to report that everything works. BUT I have no idea why or what I did that was different.????? Thanks for your input on this.
