Audio Settings for OBS, OBS Ninja, and Loopback

Hi all, I use OBS to capture and stream presentations via zoom. At times I need to capture one or two people remotely and feed them into OBS and then out to Zoom. To do this I use OBS Ninja and Loopback. I set up a room in OBS ninja and then set it as a browser source in OBS. In loopback, I use OBS and my mac laptop mic as sources, and then in OBS ninja, I set my source as Loopback (combines mic and OBS). I have tested this setup in OBS by recording video and it works. But the weird thing is I get no audio levels coming into loopback from OBS but my recording has audio. Currently, I have monitoring and output turned off for my video sources, when I turn them on I get audio levels in loopback, but I also get a very bad echo in headphones. It all works, my recording has audio from the video sources from OBS ninja as well as audio from prerecorded videos I use in the presentation(they need to be set to monitor and Output to hear though) but it makes me very nervous that I don't get audio levels in Loopback. Does anyone have a good suggestion on how to record multiple cameras with OBS, OBS ninja, and Loopback or an alternative setup? (See attached pics)

The reason I use loopback is so I can combine my mic and OBS into 2 channels so the guests on camera can hear me and interact with OBS.

I am guessing that there is no audio from OBS in Loopback because you turn off monitoring / output. The echo most likely is caused by multiple "identical" sources coming in with different timing so you need to sort out where you plug in that headphones and what software is sending audio into that port.

Thanks Tinus. Yes, you are correct, it seems without monitoring/output on I can't hear the output. IN terms of sources, All my sources are digital, no mic other than computer mic, I seem to get the echo when output is selected. So it think I am hearing the OBS ninja audio and the output from OBS at the same time. But if i just use OBS then the people in OBS ninja can't hear me. ANy ideas on a proper setup for obs ninja and OBS so i can communicate with people on camera? Thanks for the response.

I never use OBS Ninja so I don't know if as a browser source it is sending only video or with audio as well. I also don't know how you setup OBS Output to Loopback (Do you set Loopback as the Global Monitoring Device in Preferences ?).
Have you find out which one (OBS / OBS Ninja / Loopback) send audio to your headphones (You need to choose only one source) ?
