I posted this on another thread but I thought I may as well just make my own. So im having a bit of sound issues with OBS in regards to audio going through HDMI and playing in OBS. Yesterday I set up my 2 PC streaming setup, 1 gaming PC and 1 streaming Laptop. I use the avermedia HD capture card as the bridge between the two and used 1 HDMI cable from my gaming PC to the capture card, and then the usb connected from the capture card to the Laptop. I plugged my headphones into the audio out on the capture card to listen to my gaming PC. I played around with the settings and got my prefered streaming settings on my laptop finalized and ended up streaming for around 8 hours with no problems at all. I could hear everything from my gaming PC through the HDMI as well as my microphone.

This morning I went to stream and noticed that when I played any sound on my gaming computer (tested using spotify first), the sound would be recognized in its sound mixer at the bottom, but no sound would come out of the speakers like before. I went ahead and tested out the stream just in case and no sound from my PC went through to the stream. The video plays perfectly, but today OBS just decided it didn't want to play the sound i guess. I didnt change any settings btw going from yesterday to today.

Any suggestions?

Also Ive attached the latest log of OBS. hopefully that helps some...

OBS doesn't do that yet.
So it doesnt play audio through HDMI yet? It was working yesterday just fine, I had nothing in my headphone jack on my laptop. Today i attempted to use the 3.5mm headphone jack as well for audio and OBS just doesnt play any sound, no matter what settings I use.

So i just tried this out in XSplit to see if it would work and the sound came through perfectly the first try, just like yesterday with OBS. Ill give it a shot with the original OBS to see if maybe that'll work as well, but for right now its looking to be an issue with OBS studio. Its just weird how it was working perfectly yesterday and today it just doesn't work, and not even through the headphone jack.

I have a question about avermedia recently i bought avermedia live gamer HD lite and tried capturing my gaming pc from streaming pc. Recentral software capture preview screen looks sharp and clean but when i add video capture device in OBS or Xsplit it looks blurry i'm using Windows 10 on both computers.

Did anyone have similar problem ?

Ive noticed this too especially with previewing 720p quality, but when you stream the quality doesnt look like that
