Question / Help Audio randomly cutting out in recordings

EDIT: oops wrong section, should've posted this in multiplaform support -> linux, sorry :\

I'm using OBS on linux Ubuntu 15.04 to record a game + handcam at 60fps 1920x1080 downscaled to 1280x720.
The gameplay and audio are smooth while recording, however when I watch the recording I can hear the audio cutting out occasionally for a brief moment.
The cpu usage is around 30% throughout the recording, and the same audio issue happens if I switch to the ultrafast preset.
It's not a major issue nor a dealbreaker for me, but I would still like to fix it.

This is the log: http://pastebin.com/BEWeqYdB

This happens too me to but all I can find is that it's not the mic but the output device...
(I will update this with a video here later seeing if that's what you are talking about)

I have tried the following things:
- Installing xorg-edgers for the latest mesa features
- Switching between proprietary and open-source video drivers
- Updating ffmpeg
- Updating obs-studio

it sounds like the audio is slightly too fast in the recording and skips at the end of each audio chunk
