Audio question

While streaming or recording, the audio from the game I'm playing does get captured, but I cannot hear the audio unless I disable that and use headphones from my Switch. It's a standard HDMI connection and I know the audio is transmitting, but can I not both stream/record so audio goes to my stream/video, and hear it as I play the game?

That really needs to be two checkboxes, not a badly-labeled drop-down, but anyway:
  • Output goes to the stream and recording, via the Track selection here, and then Settings -> Output.
  • Monitor goes to the Monitoring device in Settings -> Audio.

Well, I put my input to Monitor and Output, but it still isn't playing to my onboard speakers or my headset plugged into or connected via BT to the iMac. I'm going to be rebooting after this, and will also check OBS for any updates, maybe that's it.
