I am trying to livestream an event that has someone speaking with a microphone that is transmitting to a sound board. For video I'm using a standard canon camcorder (connected via CamLink 4k). How do I connect the soundboard to OBS?
So far I have tried using a cable coming out of the headphone jack (I also tried coming out of a standard output on the back of the board, same result) on the soundboard and into the mic input on the laptop. Then in OBS I add an "Audio Input Capture" Source. My only options are "Default," "CamLink4k," and "Microphone Array." I chose "Microphone Array" because it seemed like it was referencing the microphone input. But when I test it out looking at the mixer I realize it's only picking up sound via the internal microphone on the laptop. I can't get it to pick up sound from the 1/8" microphone input. Any thoughts?
