Audio problems since 31.0.1 update - Audio consistently becomes intermittent after a few minutes

Since I updated to the most current version, my audio would work for about 2 to 5 minutes before dropping entirely - only to play a split second of the incoming audio at a time, at about 2 second intervals.

This problem popped up occasionally before, but an application restart would solve the problem. I read that switching audio sources and switching back solves the problem. It does - for a few more minutes. Then the audio drops and the problem begins again.

Here is the log of my last broadcast. The problem happened several times. Any insight on how to rectify this problem would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

I am having a similar issue with our audio. Were you able to resolve the issue?
I seem to have resolved it, though to be completely honest, I'm not sure what I specifically did to solve the problem. I adjusted some settings to optimize the stream, and made certain to start the software that sends the audio (I stream music sets) prior to starting OBS. Not sure if that is it, but the problem seems to come up on occasions where I start OBS first. I am currently running a stream test and things are working. Yesterday's streaming tests started off terribly, but by the end I streamed for about an hour and some change with no problem.

Some other things I did were:
-Hardwired my connection
-Lowered my video bitrate to 3500 kbps
-Raised my audio bitrate to 320 kbps (gotta sound good!)
-Lowered my frame rate to 48 fps
-Changed my server from autodetect to a specific server physically close to me (This was done on ReStream - not OBS)

FYI I was also struggling with dropped frames (~50%), but manually selecting my server solved the issue completely (0% dropped frames).

I know it's nothing definitive, but I hope that helps. If you identify the source of our problem, please post in this thread.
