Hello, i have a probelm with my mic. I'm using my headphone's mic (razer kraken 7.1 v2) when i speak the volume of my voice goes up and down. What i mean is that i speak and when i go and watch back what i recorded, in the middle of a sentence the volume goes down (sometimes i can't even hear what i'm saying) and then it goes loud again but i didn't raise my voice or stopped talking. I've been looking everywhere but can't find a solution (if there is one)

Check that your Communication settings are set up correctly

And that Audio ducking is disabled in OBS

Third thing to check is your Razer software and Microphone device settings in WIndows to make sure there is no Auto gain control or any other kind of processing happening

Thanks DEDRICK

I had a similar issue, but with my ingame and windows desktop sound levels all going low when starting OBS, and OBS recording sound at these low levels as well.

After poking around every audio related setting in Windows, I accidentally discovered that my Windows Communications default setting was: "Reduce the volume of other sounds by 80%" - As shown in your first pic.

Volume, not Level or Gain mind you. I didn't realise I had to speak retardese to be able to search for solutions to audio level issues in the Microsoft help pages. Even Microsoft is losing the plot...

Soon I'll have to stop using the apostrophe (') too
