The issue;
While streaming the viewer can hear, for example, the clicks of the start menu, the rain, some other ambient sound effects.
They cannot hear music, dialogue, ...the majority of the in game sound. More accurately, they can just barely hear those things, thin and tinny, as if bleeding in through another channel. And I mean barely, like 2 out of 100.
The audio coming out of the speakers appears to be fine. Only the streamed audio has the issues.
So far this is happening with Fallout 4, Destiny 2 and WoW (every game tried), so it doesn't appear to be game-dependent.
I'm guessing this has something to do with stereo vs. 5.1 /7.1. Like, one of the devices/drivers is running in one of these, and the other(s) are running in the other? We're basically only getting peripheral, ambient sound, and the center is completely missing.
Unfortunately the software/drivers associated with those sort of settings include Realtek, Sonic Studio (ASUS) and OBS. I'm not sure which one or ones are the issue, and have had trouble trying to troubleshoot because of this. We've attempted to set them all the same (both stereo or surround at the same time) with no change.
Since the the speaker audio is ok, it makes me think perhaps its and OBS issue?
Any suggestion? Thanks!
