I am recording old VHS tapes from VCR through USB capture card thing and at first there is only a slight echo in the recording, but the more I record, the more separated the echo becomes to the point where the audio is unlistenable. And this carries over from recording to recording! I recorded a 2 hour video, by the end the echo was awful but I didnt know this until I went back to watch them all after recording. Then the next video i made started out with the same awful echo the first video had at it's end, and progressively got worse and worse by it's completion. What is happening?
I tried using Debut and that software eventually drops so many frames that the sound is totally out of sync from the video by the end of a 1 hour recording. This was why I went to OBS in the first place but OBS's problem is much worse with the echoes.
