Question / Help Audio Popping / Crackling with Scale to original size

Heyo.. I did want to just check I'm not doing something silly..

I'm not streaming, all I want to do really is record the desktop + mic + PC Audio whatever happens to want to come through the speakers.

This works fine in general but I notice audible popping / crackling sound if I try to get 1920x1080 output from 1920x1080 input.

What I've been doing is, in the Video settings, set the Output(scaled) Resolution to the same as the Base(Canvas) resolution which is 1920x1080 when really I'm just trying to avoid any kind of scaling at all - this is when I hear the popping / crackling.

If I accept suggested Output(scaled) resolution as 1280x720 I no longer hear this disturbance. I dont know why it is happening.

Generally the CPU usage shown "without scaling" is 20 - 30% when with scaling it will stay around 15%.

Is there another way to simply not scale the Output (lets say I just want 1920x1080 in and 1920x1080 out)

Perhaps something else I can check here?

Many thanks.
