All the audio options in Multiplatform alone were worth switching from the original for me, including the mixer and the separate inputs & sources. There is one thing I feel is missing from all this though.
I'd like to suggest the possibility of adding a selection for the output of OBS itself and all its plugins. The use case here being something like follower alerts: if I have an alert come from my TNotifier browser source, the sound goes to the default desktop audio device. Like many others I use Voicemeeter which helps, but I also use a program called CheVolume to move programs from one audio device to another when they don't provide the option themselves ( for example, iTunes ). CheVolume works, but it's a little clunky and every once in a while it stops working unless I bring the window back into focus.
Anyway, right now I have CheVolume set to move OBS to its own Voicemeeter cable in order to mix my alerts separate from music, Discord, etc. This would be easier to do if OBS had the option built in. This would probably lead into also adding plugins that can produce sounds to the mixer and other considerations I'm not totally aware of.
Thanks!
