Question / Help Audio Out of Sync

Greetings. I'm having an issue with game audio and video going out of sync in OBS Studio 18.0.1 (Windows). I tested it with an offline video recording and with a live stream. I heard there's an issue with AVerMedia devices going out of sync. I have the AVerMedia DarkCrystal C027 HD internal capture card. PS4 is connected to the capture card via HDMI.

Is there a fix or work-around with settings to mitigate or eliminate the de-sync?

As a side note, I sometimes get audio popping in OBS Studio but it does not happen when I open the AVer Media Center software that shows what my capture card is capturing.I have on-board RealTek HD audio, but will be getting a sound card soon.

Please do not delete any contents of the log file (especially the scenes and sources) and also ensure a recording attempt of at least 30 seconds is included too.

I made a paste bin for the complete log. The forum post told me the log exceeded the limit, also I have lots of scenes and sources, some are temporary. I did two offline recordings, one for 30 minutes and the second for 10 minutes, and the live stream was 6 minutes. I deleted them but it could be easily replicated, happens everytime. It goes out of sync very quickly.

Hmm, that log file does not contain any recording or streaming attempts. Please follow the below instructions.

To make a clean log file, first restart OBS, then start your stream/recording for ~30 seconds and stop it again. When you're done select Help > Log Files > Upload Current Log File. Copy the URL and paste it here.

OBS Studio must have changed something, because I have a VOD on my channel from Sept 2016 when I played TellTale Batman and it never went out of sync. I haven't changed any of my settings since then, only downloaded the OBS updates. Now audio is *always* out of sync, goes out of sync in the first minute.
