I have tried every setting but OBS Studio's audio will not work. I have vlc and I still cannot hear anything.
I record the footage but there is no audio.Power up your speakers? If you're saying you have no sound with vlc... then it excludes OBS responsability? (or maybe you're not clear enough)
Its enabled in the mixer settings, yes. Like I can see the volume bar in OBS move whenever there is a sound but it doesnt record it.Which audio track are you recording, and is it enabled in your mixer settings?
2. one for my mic and 1 for my game sound. How many audio tracks do you have?
Yes, I know. I already did that.In VLC you have to choose an individual track to play from the Audio menu, have you tried that? You'll also need to make sure the volume is high in VLC, I find my commentary audio has a pretty low level.
no need. I know the problem!Well I don't know then. You can see the audio tracks in Sony Vegas and presumably they contain the audio content you want. VLC should be able to play these back without a problem. What we have done is ruled out OBS as being the problem as you can clearly see the audio tracks in vegas.
Once again if you could make a short clip available on dropbox or something I will happily take a look and also the screenshots I asked for
audio bitrateWhat was the problem?
