Question / Help Audio not working with Elgato HD

So I was streaming and my viewers said my game capture had no audio. I use the Elgato Game Capture HD (not the HD60) and i have it set up to where in the Audio output mode it's Capture audio only, and before it worked fine.

But now the capture will either be silent or have a static/white noise to it. If i change it to either Output desktop audio options it works fine except i don't want to hear a delayed version of the game audio and i can't mute it on my side without muting the audio in general.

Is there a way to fix this? again it was working fine the last time I stream Darkstalkers Resurrection on PS3 with the capture audio only now it won't work. Any responces on how to fix this or what i could do would be appreciated.

Also i dunno if it'll help but i'll put the log from when i streamed below

Are you using a splitter or something? There isn't any known issue with audio playback from the device source at the moment, and the static feels a bit suspicious that something else is at play.

No basically I only use the cables that came with the elgato no splitters. I even went into the elgato software to see if the issue would happened there and even went to obs, but the issue only seems to happen with obs multi.

I really hate to bump this old thread because I know it's annoying but I'm having the same problem.

I have the setting for my Elgato to "Capture Audio Only" (I assume this is the same as "Use Device Audio" in regular OBS).

I can see the mixer meter moving for this device but I can't hear the game audio on stream. If I change to one of the output to desktop options I can hear the game audio. Mic works fine as well. Regular OBS is also working. I feel like it might be something I'm overlooking.

I figured out my issue. It might not work for someone else that comes across this problem. I had to come back and post because I hate when people solve something and don't follow-up.

It was simple for me. I had too big of a negative offset on my Elgato. I initially just copied all my settings over from the normal OBS and I guess I shouldn't have. Once I removed that offset, my audio worked. I only needed to put a 800ms delay on my mic and webcam. Now everything is syncing correctly and I have game audio. It helps to read logs :)

Yeah, when I switched to OBS MP I had to redo my audio offsets as well..
Glad I don't use the Elgato anymore though. USB 3.0 captures FTW :)

Could you elaborate on the process how you fixed it? I tried putting it at 800 MS but it didn't do anything.
