Audio not recording

I am using a USB3 video and audio device but not able to record or hear the audio. Can anyone help? I'm using windows 10

Not sure but I think this is what you are asking for.

Not quite The log need to be of a short, 30-60 seconds, streaming or recording session in order to see what OBS is doing

I am not understanding this at all. LOL All that I am wanting to do is use the software to record TV onto my computer. Looks like this software is for gamers and that I am not. Thank you very much for trying.
