audio not recording

So I have set up obs and the audio mixer is doing its thing and working and when I do something like speak it goes up and down like it should. I also have set up all the audio inputs and outpust like my mic and my desktop audio. however, when I record, there is no audio and I dont know what to do. pls help.

That is happening to me too. I have watched a lot of youtube videos about it but none seem to work. LOL.

I just realised im on a outdated version imma try to update it

wow I tried to update it and then it said "failed update: graphics-hook64.dll is still in use. close all programs and try again" lol

but in any editing software i use it dont work like the sound isnt attached to the actuall vid
