I have a new setup for recording/streaming presentations on my Mac. The problem is that I can't get good audio from the source I want. Currently, my mic is plugged into the camera, but it reaches OBS in an extremely distorted state. To I can get clean audio in OBS from a Logitech webcam and Air Pods, so I'm assuming it's something with the equipment.
Here's the setup:
M2 Mac Mini, 24 Gigs RAM, Sonoma 14.5
OBS 30.2.2
Sennheiser MKE 600 (with supplied DSLR adapter)
Two Sony ZV-E10 Cameras
Blackmagic Design DeckLink Quad HDMI Recorder
Sonnet Echo Express PCIe Expansion Chassis
I have tried connecting a basic lapel mic to the Sony cameras, and the audio does not differ. Is there a setting that might be off in the camera? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
