Question / Help Audio Not Playing Back After Recording?

I streamed with OBS Studio yesterday, and it worked with no problem. I tried to record something today, and even though it detected the audio in preview, it didn't pick up on the recording at all. I've tried to see if it was a playback issue, but no. The audio simply is not being recorded, despite it showing up in preview mode. Can someone please help me?

What are you playing the recording back in? If you are using something that shipped n Windows please try VLC (download from videolan.org) and let us know if there's still a problem.

I did try to play it back in Windows Media Player at first. When there wasn't any sound, I imported the footage into my editing software, Adobe Premiere Elements 11, and there wasn't any waveform on the capture. Audio was not being recorded. I captured in a .MP4 format, if that helps at all.

Please try with VLC, I'm not a betting man but I can reassure you that there is an audio channel in there somewhere. If you are using multiple audio tracks please note that VLC only plays one at a time so you have to go to the Audio Menu to choose a different track. If you are only using one track then VLC will just play that :-)
