Good afternoon all.
Right where to begin, I have the VB cable feeding out my adjusted microphone from OBS to all my software, be that games, or teams, or discord, i did this so that my microphone sounded as good in game as it does on OBS.
So this sends the adjusted microphone signal to the virtual cable via the monitor feature in OBS.
The issue with this then means I can't listen to anything else with the monitor feature.
So the last year, I have been streaming and adding lots of sound effects in OBS and I can't hear any of them, so most of the time I sit in silence while the viewers hear music clips and sound effects.
I do get the audio from the browser sources, i.e my streamlabs notifications etc, I also get all my streamdeck sounds as they play to default which is the desktop audio.
So the question - Is there a work around. I have seen a lot about voice meeter mentioned, but thats more to seperate items going into OBS, not for items IN OBS.
So all my sound effects, intro videos etc are all played inside OBS so i cant hear them, but i want to.
Can you help?
