Audio monitoring has delay

I connect my nintendo switch to the line-in port of my computer using an AUX cable and create a audio input capture. Then i monitor audio input capture to hear the sound of my switch. As the monitoring time goes on (about 10 minutes), there will be a delay in the sound, and the longer the time, the higher the delay.
