Audio lost?

I was recording for over an hour, and for some reason there is no audio track. I had the desktop audio and mic audio both turned on, and doing tests it was not caused by the game I was playing, or the fact it was fullscreened. Is there any way to recover the lost audio, like from a backup or something?

I did move the file from the home folder into my videos folder, but that was a while after I had finished recording

Screenshot your settings and post here. It's possible that you recorded to a different track that your favorite player doesn't pick up, but a different one does. And it's also possible that you didn't record audio at all.

If there were a backup to recover from, then why not make that the normal workflow? So that mindset quickly becomes what already exists. No hidden backup: just make sure the settings are right, and test them to be sure before doing something important.

Darn it, there literally is no audio, I imported it into my video editor and it just isn't there.
