Question / Help Audio loses sync then catches up

SO I was recording a game from my PS4 through my Elgato HD 60 capture to OBS. I went back and watched and notice that about halfway through the video the audio between my mic was not matching up with the timing of my webcam. They somehow fell out of sync. I would say something and the webcam would show me saying it roughly 1 second later. It was like this for a few minutes then caught itself up. Any reason why it would do this?

I Use CRF as the method of recording set at 12 and key interval frames are at 2.

Specs = Dell precision m4600
Intel core i7 - 2780 qm,
Nvidia quadro 1000m
8 gigs of ram

7:42:11 PM.601: Output 'adv_file_output': Number of lagged frames due to rendering lag/stalls: 13 (0.5%)

Your processor cannot handle 1080p at 60fps recording. Try using Intel Quicksync instead. Should fix your issue. :-)

Actually this is the portion where the actual video I'm referring to was recorded.

Now that I think about it I think this may be due to a slow Hard drive. I ordered an SSD and I'm waiting for that to come in. I'm thinking the encoder may be getting backed up due to the HD having issues writing all this data to disc quick enough and as a result, some frames get dropped which in turn causes an audio de-sync (if that's a word). I could be wrong though but an SSD certainly would make my laptop better regardless.
