Question / Help Audio lagging ~1 second behind the video

Hi guys,

I just recently got a new pc, and I was testing some things in Unity that I had just programmed. I had an another person wanting to see what I had so far, so I was recording with OBS to demonstrate the basic features of unity. However, when I recorded, the audio was a bit behind the video. It seems fine towards the beginning, but quickly gets very laggy behind the video.

To narrow the problem down, I recorded a youtube audio-video sync test, and as far as I can tell the audio is almost exactly 0.5 seconds late.

I googled it, but most audio issues seem to be from around 3-5 years ago. Can anybody help with fixing it?

hey,

i have same problem, the only difference audio seems to be non synchronized from the very beginning. something has changed and i am not sure if this is my fault, because i did not have this problem in the past. i just used different programs and i don't have such problem, but i really like to work with obs and this is why i am here to ask for help.

//EDIT
well, i just installed the new versions of geforce game ready driver (v.388.31) released ~two days ago and now everything seems to be working properly :) i will let you know if something will change in this case or problem will appear once again (hope not).

I downloaded the driver. I recorded another sync test, here. This time, the audio is almost perfectly synced, ~5 ms off, but it's perfectly fine for what I need. I guess installing drivers are important. Thanks!
